First Man
On the heels of their six-time Academy Award( r) -winning smash, La La Land, Oscar( r) -winning director Damien Chazelle and idol Ryan Gosling reteam for Universal Pictures’ First Man, the riveting floor of NASA’s mission to land a humankind on the moon, be concentrated on Neil Armstrong and its first year 1961 -1 969. A visceral, first-person account, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost–on Armstrong and on the nation–of one of the most hazardous operations in history.
Pen by Academy Award( r) winner Josh Singer( Spotlight ), the theatre is produced by Wyck Godfrey& Marty Bowen( The Twilight Saga, The Mistake in Our Hotshots) through their Temple Hill Entertainment banner, alongside Chazelle and Gosling. Isaac Klausner( The Mistake in Our Stars) exec induces. DreamWorks Illustration co-finances the film.
