Cindy McCain, the widow of onetime Republican presidential campaigner Sen. John McCain, will implicitly endorse Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden during Tuesday night’s Democratic convention. McCain will chronicle a video about her late husband’s friendship with Biden, which began when the two worked together in Washington in the 1970 s. “They would just sit and joke. It was like a slapstick appearance, sometimes, to watch the two of them, ” she says in the prerecorded video, first reported by the Associated Press.
