The Killers

The Killers have released their new single’ My Own Soul’s Warning ‘, from their upcoming book’ Imploding the Mirage’.

“I’ve tried going against my own soul’s warning/ But in the end something really didn’t feel right, ” frontman Brandon Flowers sings, before the song explodes into a burst of light guitars and keys.

The track is set to feature on the band’s upcoming album’ Imploding The Mirage’, which is due to be their sixth studio album. Hear it below.

The band had pestered the new song on June 13, announcing to Instagram black-and-white visuals of the band in the studio, to be determined by Wes Johnson.

‘Imploding The Mirage’ was originally scheduled for release on May 29 but has since been adjourned due to the coronavirus pandemic. No brand-new liberation year has been confirmed at present.

On June 8, the Vegas group play-act a new copy of’ Land Of The Free’, changing the lyricals to reference the killing of George Floyd. The 49 -year-old died while being arrested by police in Minneapolis on May 25 when military officers kneeled on his neck for roughly nine minutes.

“How many killings must one human watch in his home? ” Flowers sang on the brand-new version of the 2019 single, before referencing the killing of Floyd: “Eight measured times and 46 seconds, another boy in the bag/ Another stain on the flag.”

Flowers and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. also recently dissected their pop single’ Mr Brightside’ in a new video. “I was disclosed and I was able to turn it into a masterpiece, ” the vocalist said of the move, which peculiarity on their 2005 debut recording’ Hot Fuss’.
