Creator/ Writer of Sex Education and BAFTA Breakthrough Brit, Laurie Nunn, breaks down the groundbreaking library background in Season 2, where the female people share their experiences of sexual harassment after Aimee is assaulted on the bus to school.

Heavily inspired by classic movies like The Breakfast Club, the prove often deals with dark and rarely-tackled subject matter through a comedic lens. In this video, Laurie explains her process for writing the scene.

In 2020, Laurie was nominated for the Breakthrough Talent Award at the BAFTA TV Awards and Best Writer – Comedy at the Royal Television Society Awards.
