A holidaymaker has divulged how he was attacked by the’ angriest octopus’ on an Australian beach.
Lance Karlson was holidaying near Ramada resort in Western Australia’s Georgraphe Bay, with his two-year-old daughter, when he discovered the eight-armed creature.
The 34 -year-old first believed it was a stingray, when he saw the octopus getting into a fight with a seagull, before it quickly turned on him and his daughter.

The clip shows the octopus instantly make its path over to Lance and his daughter, before it’s appendages come slamming out the sea towards them.
‘I thought it was a stingray at first. But then I checked the tentacles of an octopus come out of the ocean and lash out at a seagull, ’ he told the Daily Mail Australia.
‘I marched with two daughters in my appendages up to the octopus and made the video and the octopus lashed out at us.’

Later on in the day, Lance- who been working as a lifeguard- decided to swim in the liquid, consuming his goggles “ve been looking for” crab shells.
But, as he was minding his own business dive along, he suddenly felt a massive slap on his arm, be accompanied by agonizing spanking sensation on his cervix and back.
‘As I was looking at the husks underwater I was hit across my limb. I was then reached again over my cervix, ’ he recalled.
‘My goggles were just too clouded to see what had happened and I swam back to shore in pain.’

When he managed to make his way out of the sea, “hes taking” a closer inspection at his injuries, and noticed the imprints of the annoyed octopus’ tentacles, which had formed developed tags across his skin.
Lance took to Instagram to share a clip of the annoyed individual, but he doesn’t require octopuses to get a bad reputation because of what happened.
‘This was clearly the octopus’ subject. I am worried that parties will deem octopuses in a different light. They are amazing humen that clearly have some strong excitements, ’ he said.
The clip has since been considered more than 34,000 occasions, with hundreds observing to say how fascinating it is to see such a beast up close.

‘Dude, this is unbelievable. It actually shows the cunning nature of how octopuses are. Piranhas of the oceans, but strange how it threshed at humans. Great science footage, ’ one Instagram customer commented.
Another lent:’ This is so cool! I’m curious what it’s conjecture. They are so smart, so there must have been a reason it was grumpy.’
