Dear friends,

One of our greatest challenges: staying motivated in our photography.

How does one have infinite motivation in their photography? I envision I got it figured out 😛 TAGEND

1. Nomadic is best

The more you can opt for a nomadic cosmo and lifetime, the very best. I have no idea what your job or life-time situation is, but the more you can think nomadic the better.

For example, if you have the option to travel, move enterprises, move municipalities, move points … opt it. All convert is good.

2. The wandering component

I’m currently here in Mexico City, and wow — the city blows me away. It is so much more epic than I remember! I think if one is able to travel for their photography at least once a few months, or once every other month … it is great.

Why travel? It opens up your eyes, expands your perspectives, and animates you with new views, flavors, parties, knowledge, and world-wides. I do strongly believes in travel.

3. The right camera

After having shot with all the cameras, I still believe in RICOH. I truly belief the RICOH GR is the best camera, specially any of the newest ones. My simple heuristic 😛 TAGEND

What is the best RICOH digital camera, or very good new camera? The newest RICOH GR.

I currently have the RICOH GR III and it is on the last legs. When it totally interrupts, I is more likely to get a GR IIIx or if the GRIV comes out. And the above reasons I cherish ERIC KIM WRIST STRAP is that I designed the optimal everyday carry camera leash for the RICOH GR( there is a lack of other similar produces on the market, so I decided to create my own standard ). Same goes with ERIC KIM NECK STRAP — no other camera leash comes even 1/10 th close to being as beautiful as it.

4. Switching from monochrome to color

I ultimately elevate monochrome, but I likewise like shooting color. My simple visualized 😛 TAGEND

Even though I favor monochrome, when I lose inspiration to shoot black and white, I switch to color for a while … and sooner or later, I will eventually revert back to black and white.

And going through both( creative cycling) is a good thing. A macrocosm in only black and white would be boring, and a world merely in emblazon would be boring.

Embrace both, but I say —

Focus 80% of your effort on one aesthetic( whether monochrome or shade ), and focus 20% of your effort on the other aesthetic.

A simple tip is just shoot small-time JPEG, and switch to color or monochrome when you feel like it.

5. The very best photos are the ones you’ve shot today

Let us not think too retrospectively. Think today, the future, swelling, new opportunities, brand-new suffers, and new world which summon you!
