Scream strikes theaters on Jan. 14, 2022. Spoiler-free review by Amelia Emberwing.

The recent addition to the Scream franchise expertly coalesces deference for the source material while composing something that feels almost completely new. All of the implementation of its are pitch-perfect as the new generation of Woodsboro teens steps into their futures, the kills are gnarly, and no version of poisonous fandom is left unmocked.
