Nick Bannister( Hugh Jackman ), a private investigator of the imagination, navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by curing his patients access lost recalls. Living on the periphery of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever deepened when he takes on a new client, Mae( Rebecca Ferguson ).

A simple matter of lost and noted becomes a dangerous infatuation. As Bannister combats to find the truth about Mae’s disappearance, he discovers a murderou scheme, and must eventually ask the question: how far would you go to hold on to the ones you affection?

The action thriller movie, targeted and written by Lisa Joy, is in theaters( and on HBO Max for 31 days following exhaust) on August 20 th.
