In the slippery frontier municipal of Samurai Town, a ruthless bank swindler( Nicolas Cage) is sprung from jail by affluent warlord The Governor( Bill Moseley ), whose adopted granddaughter Bernice( Sofia Boutella) has been missing. The Governor offers the prisoner his freedom in exchange for retrieving the blowout. Strapped into a leather suit that will self-destruct within five days, the bandit names off on a passage to find the young woman-and his own track to redemption.

Prisoners of the Ghostland, directed by Sion Soto, arrived at the theaters and on VOD and Digital on September 17, 2021.
