Independent developer Gabe Cuzzillo and recreation description Devolver Digital have announced Ape Out, a brand new sport heading toward Switch early next year.

This one is described as “a wildly intense and colourfully stylised smash’ em up about primal escape, rhythmic violence, and frenetic jazz”, and we definitely get that vibe from the trailer. Players can build up practically unstoppable momentum and use their captors as both weapons and shields, humbling everyone on their procedurally made track to freedom.
