Death on the Nile makes theaters on Feb. 11, 2022. Review by Siddhant Adlakha.

It makes Death on the Nile far longer than it should to reach its most impactful minutes, but actor-director Kenneth Branagh helps deeply enough about Detective Poirot to make it work. While serviceable as a carnage whodunit, and surprisingly plain as a legend of profusion, the movie eventually succeeds when Branagh turns the camera away from the digital sets and seldom counterfeit supporting operations, and levels it at himself.
