Birds of Prey only delivered the latest chapter in the DC Movie Universe, wholly deepening the landscape of Gotham City and setting up batches more to come, so here’s a ramshackle of how Harley Quinn’s antics and a few cool Easter eggs affect the DCEU going forward. Even though Jared Leto’s Joker doesn’t appear in the film, his spirit is felt, and where reference is drops Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn it has a tumultuous ripple effect across Gotham City that affects Ewan McGregor’s Black Mask and of course the women of the Birds of Prey.
