Devolver Digital secreted Weird West’s reveal trailer online the same day the game was presented on stage at The Game Awards. The upcoming title will be a role-play adventure that takes place in a Wild West re-imagined with dark illusion aspects. Plus, the player’s choices will affect the outcome of the story, which is all about groupings of unconventional heroes and their roots. Watch the trailer, below.

The first vistum of the trailer demo a stylized 2D valley landscape, together with some unsettling courages. Later in the video, there are quality 3D graphics that very probably come from the game itself. Nonetheless , no actual gameplay is shown for now. Plus, the trailer equips an important clue about the rating of the upcoming game: since there’s plenty of blood, it’s unlikely that Weird West will be suitable for children. The video already reached 105,099 their opinions and 1765 likes, and the supporters carried a good deal of enthusiasm about it in the comments, specially because they trust Devolver to always ply excellence games.

Given the previous success of Arkane’s team, it’s very likely that Weird West will create a lot of promotion in the gaming society. It’s clear that the devotees have large-hearted promises about the upcoming title, and that they’re looking forward to a great gaming experience, like the one offered by Dishonored and Prey. However, the game is still in its early development chapters, so it’s probably too soon to tell if the new name will keep up with the stature of Arkane’s bestsellers. Devotees will have to wait until Devolver and WolfEye publish a gameplay trailer to find out more about Weird West but, for now, it’s certain that the game will attract “members attention” of all the followers of alternating history.
