Tom Hanks please open about Charlize Theron‘s audition for his movie, That Thing You Do!
In an oral biography interrogation with Ringer, the 65 -year-old actor and director been set up about the process of first writing the movie to throw and how it was made.
While talking about the assigning process, Tom revealed that Charlize had auditioned for one of the main parts.

While revealing how they had casting the project, Tom shared that Charlize had” spoken on the first day that I read actors ,” and she knew precisely who she wanted to play.
” She said,’ Listen, I know I can play Tina, but I want to play Faye .’ I said,’ I get that ,’ but what I was meditate in my psyche was,’ You’re too much of a supernova to play Faye .'”
The role of Faye was played by Liv Tyler.
Tom is cognizant of the fact that” molding her was such a takeover .”
Producer Ed Saxon added that after she spoke, Tom told him that” we just met a movie star.”
” She was smart, glamorous, and had a exceptional sense of humour, and when she said the words, you were like, there’s a whole courage there ,” he shared.
Just recently, Tom was honored at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala.
