The Pentagon uncovered Monday evening that it moved 1,600 Us soldiers soldiers to basis near Washington DC and has them on alert to respond to protests and unrest if necessary. Troop include an infantry troop labelled Task Force 504 and entrusted to the 82 nd Airborne Division’s Immediate Response Force at Fort Bragg, as well as command and oversight matters, military police, and engineering sections. The armies, the free movement of persons of which was authorized by Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, arrived in the last 24 hours, the Pentagon said. The Pentagon moved 1,600 US Army soldiers to cornerstones just outside Washington, DC, where they are on alert to respond to unrest in the nation’s uppercase if necessary.
