Real Madrid drop out of the scoot
Perhaps the main reason why Havertz seems to be on the way to Stamford Bridge is due to a lack of admirers capable of signing the 21 -year-old German international.
Real Madrid have long been scheduled as a possible purchaser for Havertz. However, the Athletic confidently report that Los Blancos are out of the race 😛 TAGEND
Havertz previously imagined representing Real Madrid, but the Spaniards made clear they could not do the bargain at present.
Despite his clique planning to allow a short period for other suitors to show their handwriting, as things stand it is developing into a one-horse race.
How much will Chelsea have to pay to sign Havertz?
Sport Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk, has previously reported that Bayer Leverkusen are demanding 100 million euros for 21 -year-old Havertz.
Christian Falk was also indicated that Bayer are willing to agree that some of the above figures may simply arrive in the form of add-ons and/ or bonuses.
Update @kaihavertz29 and @ChelseaFC: Leverkusen requires still a Transfer fee around 100 Mio Euro. But: the Club is open to having add ons/ bonuses in a deal

Yet, according to the Athletic, Bayer’s asking price is dropping. Indeed, the Athletic shave 20 million euros off of Havertz’s asking price, as books are told 😛 TAGEND
Sources have indicated it will most probably be about EUR8 0 million after add-ons, whether that takes the form of EUR6 5 million plus EUR1 5 million, EUR7 0 million plus EUR1 0 million or a same layout around that field.
When could Chelsea sign Havertz?
It’s worth noting that while the Athletic peddle the Havertz to Chelsea story on Monday, Italian transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has also affixed a short update on the possible summer transfer.
Fabrizio Romano has tempered their recommendations the lot will happen imminently. Instead, he’s reported that the Havertz deal” needs experience “.
Atletico have not received any bid for Oblak … and they don’t want to sell him. Havertz deal as always said needs season- not boosted more between clubs

How likely is it that another association swoops in to try to sign Havertz?
According to the Athletic, it’s unlikely that any other squads will penetrate the hasten for Havertz.
Considering some of the possible challengers to Chelsea, readers are told that Bayern Munich lack the “necessary funds” after indicating Leroy Sane from Man City.
Manchester United have reportedly had “conversations” to discuss a move for Havertz, but those talks” have not boosted” while Jadon Sancho seems higher on the Old Trafford shopping list.
Elsewhere, Barcelona cannot afford to sign Havertz, Man City have shown no interest in the German playmaker, leaving PSG as perhaps the only club with the wherewithal to hijack Chelsea’s supposed deal.
