John Carpenter has predicted that Halloween Kills, the latest instalment in the long-running horror franchise, will not disappoint slasher fans.
Carpenter, who has placed numerous fright classics in particular the original 1978 Halloween, has formed the score for the new Michael Myers story. Speaking to IndieWire, he described the film as “intense and brutal”.
” The movie is something else ,” Carpenter was indicated in the interrogation.” It’s fun, intense and brutal, a slasher movie terms one hundred, big time. It’s huge. I’ve never seen anything like this: the kill counting !”
Although the 2018 film ended with Myers apparently caught in a burning room, a brand-new teaser trailer evidences fire engines arriving on the background. Watch the clip below.
A direct sequel to 2018′ s Halloween, the upcoming film will see Jamie Lee Curtis reprise her persona as Laurie Strode, alongside Judy Greer as Karen Nelson, Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson, and James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle sharing the famous mask.
Green previously claimed the brand-new cinema is contained in” more violent incident” he’s ever steered( May 16 ). The filmmaker teased the bulletin during a Twitter watch party for Halloween via the Blumhouse account, commenting on a murderou situation in the film in comparison to his previous movie Pineapple Express.
Halloween Kills has also recently been pushed back to October 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Both Carpenter and the film’s director, David Gordon Green, “says thats” ” heartbroken” that the cinema had to be delayed, but explained that it was necessary to avoid” a compromised theatrical knowledge” for fans.
