The next season of Gotham will be its last.
While Fox announced a Gotham Season 5 for next year, the network also confirmed the series will not be returning for a season six.
“The fifth and final season will wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, which revealed an entirely new chapter that has never been told,” Fox said.

It’s being said the final season of Gotham will consist of 13 episodes (from the normal 22) and air mid-season next year focusing on Bruce Wayne’s transformation into Batman.
