CBS All Access, in advance of Star Trek: Discovery‘s second-season premiere on January 17, 2019, has just launched an official trailer and key art, and they’ve likewise revealed that season two will be extended to 14 bouts, from the previously announced 13.
Discovery’s sophomore season finds the gang of the U.S.S. Discovery — after reacting a distress signal from the U.S.S. Enterprise — participating pressures with Captain Christopher Pike( Anson Mount) on a brand-new mission to investigate seven strange red signals and the illusion of an uncharted being called the Red Angel. While the gang must work together to untangle their implication and source, Michael Burnham( Sonequa Martin-Green) is forced to face her past with the return of her estranged brother, Spock( Ethan Peck ).
Season two of Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at 8: 30 PM, ET/ 5:30 PM, PT alone on CBS All Access in the United States and will also be distributed simultaneously by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries and in Canada on Bell Media’s Space direct and OTT service CraveTV. The line are generated by CBS Television Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.
