We’re doing the damn thing: The FREESKIER Ski Test returns to Aspen to rate and review next year’s best skis

DISCLAIMER: The 2021 FREESKIER Ski Test is being held under strict Covid-1 9 etiquettes, ensuring everyone has tested negative for the virus, wears a mask and physically distances from others involved in the event.

It seems like only yesterday that the FREESKIER crew, our coveted group of testers and brand representation from over 30 of the best ski manufacturers in the business converged last year in Aspen for the annual Ski Test, the most difficult, baddest ski review in the industry. Since then, so much has changed–you know, that entire Coronavirus thing–but we’re proud to say that WE’RE BACK and we’re doing the damn thing for the 19 th consecutive time.

Yet, Aspen’s unrivaled area remains the same — 675 acres and 3,267 paws of vertical–offering the ideal testing grounds for grading and examining the best skis on sale next season. Everyone testing skis frequencies each duo on the spot, so we can compile the most accurate information possible in the process of preparing our annual Buyer’s Guide, which comes ended with gear reviews and expert advice on how to find your dream setup.
