The Walking Dead established based somewhat early in its first season as a show that is not afraid to kill off major references. Now that we’re well into the show’s ninth season, and past the 100 -episode mark, “theres been” batch of persona deaths.
It can be tough for the writers to keep these backgrounds fascinating, since the onlookers involve closure on the characters’ floor arc and hitherto too is essential to sickened when they travel. It’s a fine wire to foot, so the picture has naturally had mixed develops with it. Now is every extinction on The Walking Dead, ranked.
37 Nicholas
While it was great to see this idiot run, he nearly returned down Glenn with him. And that led to the dumpster fake-out, one of the most controversial gambits in the show’s history.
3 6 Milton
The Governor’s assistant came and ran without making much of an impact. His zombification was more an integrated part of Andrea’s death than an event of its own.
3 5 Glenn
This was the extinction that made a lot of observers tune out after the season 7 debut. It was so unnecessarily gory and drawn-out, as the poorest of the poor guy’s see popped out and he continued talking to Maggie before being delivered the final demise blow.

It’s terrifying without too being entertaining.
3 4 Ed
This guy’s death wasn’t particularly surprising, because his relentless abuse towards his wife Carol labelled him as one who had to go, but it was still slaking to watch such a ogre get gobbled alive.
3 3 Andrea
If anything, onlookers were glad to see Andrea go after her tale with the Governor had shaped her insufferable. Still, it was a surprise to see that a reputation with one of a long time arcs in the comics died so early- and that after somehow escaping a zombified Milton, she still died from a bite.
3 2 Jessie
What a reproach. Time as her relationship with Rick was eventually starting to bud, Jessie disappeared into a horde of baby-walkers, because she merely couldn’t make her kids run. All she did incorrect was cherish her kids too much.
3 1 Deanna
The ferocious chairman of Alexandria had kind of a gentle death, which was a little disappointing. Plus, even though she’d been pierced, for whatever ground, she was allowed to be in a chamber alone with the babe. Are they nuts?
3 0 Dale
It’s hard to care about a courage dying when the events leading up to their death highlight their foolishness.

Dale went out for a walk in the jet black in the middle of the light and resolved up going burnt by a baby-walker, surprising no one.
2 9 Otis
This poor guy was just shot and left for dead by Shane on a ply lope. He was a fatality of Shane’s downward spiraling into madnes. Before then, he hadn’t induced much of an effect, so Shane’s actions were surprising without the character loss being that tragic.
2 8 Tyreese
After all the things Tyreese went through, including repelling off a horde of hikers with his bare pass in order to save Judith from a Termite, it was a dishonor that he had such a low-key demise. Plus, it was weird that a whole chapter was dedicated to the hallucinations he had as he gradually tumbled into the light.
2 7 Dr. Edwin Jenner
This CDC doctor had a good point about the futility of living in a life ruled by the undead, but he didn’t have to decide for everyone else whether they wanted to die. Still, his careful final words to Rick have echoed in all regions of the prove ever since.
2 6 Beth
This was pretty stupid. What did Beth hope to achieve from stabbing the forearmed polouse who dislikes her in the shoulder? Her captors were merrily releasing her back to Rick’s group before she foolishly came herself killed.

Still, it was a regrettable spate to accompany Daryl carry her limp body out of the hospital.
2 5 Olivia
Olivia became her appoint as one of the few references who wasn’t “afraid youre going to” stand up to Negan, but as such, she didn’t do herself any praises. It was no surprise, genuinely, when Negan had her killed, but it was still lamentable. Her alone crime was courage.
2 4 Sam and Ron
This was a two-for-one deal as both of Jessie’s chafing kids were completed in the same chapter. Fans had been waiting for these two to go for a long time and it was satisfying more than surprising when it finally happened in the season 6 midseason premiere.
2 3 Amy
A lot of people possibly don’t retain Amy, Andrea’s sister, because she died space back in season 1. But her death was important, because it told us the support wasn’t afraid to kill off central reputations with unresolved fib arcs.
2 2 Simon
After Simon revealed Negan, it was only a matter of time before he was eliminated. But we didn’t expect it to be such a decorous demise as a fight to the death.
2 1 Gareth
Sometimes Rick Grimes makes things too far, but we can sort of understand that, when he and his sidekicks have been held over a trough ready to be bled out and ingest by cannibals, he’d want to deliver some pretty merciless payback if he got the chance.

And that’s just what he did when Terminus head honcho Gareth was presented to him.
2 0 Carl
It was surprising that Carl would die at all, since he seemed to be one of those reputations like Rick and Daryl who are safe from ever dying. But then the appearance has proven a bunch of meters that it’s not afraid to kill off’ safe’ people. The method Carl went out was underwhelming, but the fact it happened at all was surprising enough.
1 9 Spencer
Spencer was an arrogant, fruitless implement from day one. The person was a total doofus. So, it was satisfying when Negan attracted out a spear and opened up his belly- and about hour, too.
1 8 Mika
Just when you thought The Walking Dead’s novelists had lost their ability to stun you, they vanished and had a child slaughter her own little sister. The zombies are frightening, but this is truly horrific.
1 7 T-Dog
T-Dog got a hero’s death as he was torn apart by hikers while saving Carol’s life.

If you give your life to save another character’s life, then you go down in autobiography in The Walking Dead supporter base’s good books.
1 6 Bob
If he hadn’t shrieked, “Tainted meat! Tainted meat! ” as he watched groupings of cannibals devoured his leg, Bob’s death wouldn’t be nearly as memorable as it is. But because he did, it goes down as one of the show’s greatest extinction scenes.
1 5 The Governor
The Governor’s demise was a long time coming. He was the worst. During the attempted prison takeover, “hes in” a fight with Rick, prevail, and it seemed like he might get away- and even kill Rick. But then Michonne drove her katana through his chest and his lover Lily shut the enter into negotiations with a shot to the heading. Everybody got a piece.
1 4 Shiva
While the loss of Shiva had been signposted before it happened, it was still harrowing to experience such a sublime ogre lose her life at the sides of a bunch of baby-walkers. She struggled to escape their seize, but in the end, the information was pointless. It was over.
1 3 Noah
If there’s one thing The Walking Dead does well, it’s graphic savagery. Watching Noah get torn leg from leg in a revolving door right on the other side of the glass from Glenn as he screamed his heart out was both gut-wrenching and heartbreaking.

Plus, it led to that entertaining “Everybody Ate Chris” meme.
1 2 Abraham
Abraham went out with form. He made one change of Negan’s bat Lucille to the head and still managed to look back up and revile Negan before being suspended with the next move. It was the most Abraham way he could’ve led out.
1 1 The Scavengers
This was pretty surprising. Negan cast Simon to kill one of Jadis’ people to send a theme, but he aimed up going mad and having all but one, Jadis, wiped out in a tornado of lead.
1 0 Jesus
Sadly, the season 9 midseason finale had to sacrifice a great courage if there is to introduce the Whisperers to the present in the most satisfying course possible. Jesus goes to jabbed a hiker, which then ducks out of the way and makes him down, telling him he doesn’t belong there. Turns out the “walker” is a live human wearing baby-walker skin. Chilling.
9 Merle
Merle’s death at the paws of the Governor led to one of the most emotional places in the substantiate when Daryl find him, zombified, and has to terminate him for good.

When we gratified Merle in season 1, he was terrible. We wouldn’t have helped if he died. But by the time he did, he’d redeemed himself.
8 Lizzie
This would be a prime candidate for the darkest time in The Walking Dead history. “Theres lots” of dark moments in the picture, but Carol taking a deranged little girl out into a orbit like Old Yeller and shooting her in the back makes the gold.
7 Lori
This was a toughie. Not merely did Carl have to watch his mother die during the most slapdash C-section birth ever accomplished, and all during a walker rioting- he then had to shoot her in the intelligence when she turned.
6 Gregory
After all of Gregory’s flip-flopping, changing backs and betraying his allies time to avoid any possible inkling of possibility, he deserved a really horrible death. And that’s exactly what Maggie granted him when she decided to publicly hang him.
5 Denise
Denise was a forgettable attribute, but she had a memorable final scene. In the middle of an impassioned discussion- the most positions she’d had now been she was introduced on the register- an arrow from Daryl’s embezzled crossbow hit through the back of her brain and out of her eye.

As if that wasn’t enough, then she began slurring her terms. It was a ruffling and memorable moment.
4 Shane
While Jon Bernthal is now a beloved virtuoso thanks to The Punisher, he was once one of “the worlds largest” disliked beings on tv. Shane’s mental health travelled very quickly downhill after Rick returned and made over the group. He wanted to abandon the quest for Sophia, he assaulted Lori a few times, he might be Judith’s father, and in the end, he needed to be killed by Rick- and then again by Carl.
3 Hershel
As much as we didn’t want to see Hershel become, decapitation is a reasonably memorable highway to leave this Dirt. His dismembered thought was also the opening shot of the season 4 midseason debut chapter, so it gets bonus degrees for gruesomeness.
2 Sasha
We knew Sasha’s dates were numbered when Sonequa Martin-Green indicated on to superstar in Star Trek: Discovery. Still, she went out in the greatest mode possible, poisoning herself while being held as a hostage by Negan and then pouncing at him, zombified, when he went to present her to the Alexandrians.
1 Sophia
After half a season was dedicated to the search for Carol’s daughter, with everyone constantly debating whether or not it was even worth noting, it was a huge surprise to find out she’d been in the barn the whole time, and Hershel knew. And then Rick exactly rallied up to her and film her in the manager. That was a quite WTF midseason finale.
