South Park has never balk away from dissension plastering a variety of contentious and often taboo subjects in the 21 years since it first aired.
And last-place night’s( October 10) occurrence was no different, as the support dedicated an entire occurrence to call out The Simpsons regarding the recent Apu controversy.
The Simpsons came under inquiry for racial stereotyping because one of its main characters, Apu, the owner of the Kwik-E-Mart and of Indian legacy, is voiced by a white American actor, Hank Azaria.
Last year, Asian comic Hari Kondabolu released the documentary The Problem With Apu in an attempt to explore and confront how Western culture illustrates Southeast Asian parishes, particularly with regard to the Springfield resident.
As a result of the documentary, The Simpsons’ top exec is still under expectation to make changes to the character. However, register inventor Matt Groening afterwards dismissed the controversies.

People were quick to point out this beast aiming of the occurrence, but others have contemplated it as more of a mischievous jibe at a competitive rather than a serious call for abandonment. Chiefly because South Park have ended every bout of its 22 nd season with the word ‘# cancelsouthpark’ in the background of the credits.
Either way though, onlookers were left scandalized by this and immediately took to Twitter to talk about it.

Only @SouthPark can make fun of the imitation Apu outrage and return a nod to The Simpsons standing strong while simultaneously is reported to junk them. Causing Apu greet a poo was key to the joke and is simply clever. #cancelthesimpsons

Whichever way you look at it, the whole thought is terribly adroit of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who have nothing to lose from this episode. They’ve always been controversial and this only serves to strengthen their already stellar reputation.
I guess spectators will really have to wait and discover what The Simpsons retaliate with.
