JCB North America is acquiring the business of western coast trader JCB of Southern California( SoCal) from its owner, Yale/ Chase Equipment and Service.
JCB North America is now assuming responsibility for dealership operations, including the sales and supporter of JCB construction material, to clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area and neighboring counties, a press release says.
The business will continue to operate under the trading name, JCB of Southern California.
“The Los Angeles to San Diego corridor, including Valencia on the north and San Bernardino to the east, is an important sell for JCB in North America” says David Hill, vice president of JCB West Coast. “The Yale/ Chase crew has established a strong foundation for JCB of SoCal over the past six years. We’re elicited to build on the performance of their duties, and invest further, to deliver construction sites gear and service that JCB clients demand.”
To ensure a seamless change and mitigate impact to JCB customers, the company says, various members of the existing Yale/ Chase team will remain with JCB of SoCal under new JCB North America ownership.
“Building the JCB dealership has been a reinforcing request, ” says Roger Ketelsleger, proprietor and CEO of Yale/ Chase Equipment and Service. “The time is right for JCB to bring their passion for the business and knowledge of the region, to take JCB of SoCal to the next level.”
