E3 may be the first sport conference of the year, but its European equivalent is arguably bigger. Gamescom took place towards the end of August and while there was only one opening show that crossed all makes and publisher( including Sony ), there is indeed plenty of new tournaments to get excited about. The month wasn’t all about good report, though, as another dealership was confirmed to have come to an end.
Gamescom Opening Night Live Announced Seven New Games
Gamescom’s Opening Night Live show planned to pack in as much gaming news as possible into a couple of hours. The cause was a multitude of bulletins that included Saints Row, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, DokeV, Park Beyond, Cult of the Lamb, Midnight Fight Express, and UFL. And those were just the games announced for PlayStation platforms.
As well as the announcements, there were exhaustive handout years for Horizon Forbidden West, Jett: The Far Shore, SIFU, The King of Fighters XV, and Jurassic World Evolution 2. Genshin Impact, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, and Splitgate all get new post-launch content, while Riders Republic’s open beta was extended. There were also plenty of trailers to see, starting the show well worth a watch.
Suda 51 Demonstrates The No More Heroes Franchise is No More
No More Heroes creator Goichi “Suda5 1” Suda announced that the dealership is no more. The last game was No More Heroes III on the Nintendo Switch as protagonist Travis Touchdown had reached the end of his journey. Naughty Dog Begins Work on a Standalone Multiplayer Game
This was one of gaming’s bad obstructed mysteries, but it made until August 2021 for Naughty Dog to confirm it was working on the studio’s first standalone multiplayer game. No other details were revealed at the time, although the studio last-minute shown it was a The Last of Us standalone multiplayer project. The place wasn’t helped when Square Enix refused to disclose auctions people to People Can Fly.
Before this, Square Enix had already said the game was set to become their “next major right” following a musician weigh of more than 3.5 million in its first month of liberation. This was despite a rocky open with server problems that cleaned many players’ progress.
