Berrios is fresh off two starts against his former team, the Minnesota Twins. In the process, he “ve been given” six deserved leads but managed to keep his team in both activities. On the year, Berrios boasts a 3.48 ERA and 12 -9 record in 31 jaunts. He’s also struck out 197 in 186 frames. The Puerto Rico native has given the Jays much-needed longevity across the last month. In fact, he’s pitched at least six innings in each of his previous six outings dating back to August 29 th.
Since joining Toronto, Berrios has also gathered a 3.50 ERA. He’s faced the Yankees once this season and enjoyed some success, standing just two payed flows in 6.2 innings.
