In today’s IGN The Fix: Entertainment, while supporters who campaigned to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut may have gotten what they demanded with the freeing of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, it seems HBO Max did not. The Zack Snyder Justice Leaguemovie didn’t pull in as many customers as Warner was hoping for, in regards to their HBO Max streaming platform. What does this mean for the DCEU going forward? Well, these kinds of numbers aren’t much incentive for Warners to alter their decision to not move forward with the Snyderverse, so don’t expect the studio to invite Zack Snyder back to finish his Justice League trilogy or continue its work with the Snyderverse in general. In other leisure bulletin, there’s a Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special brewing over at Disney +, which will apparently take place within the MCU timeline.
