When Godzilla: King of the Monsters arrives in US theaters on May 31 st, we know for sure that the Big G will throw-down against Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah. While other “Titans” ought to have pestered , no one knows sure as shooting if these will be beings from Toho’s stable, or original start by Legendary. Still, fans have been talking about who they’d like to see, and the figure Gamera pops up often.

Our chances of realise Gamera joining in on the mayhem are slim to nothing, more likely due to the fact that the giant turtle isn’t one of Toho’s Kaiju: He was created by rival studio Daiei Film in 1965 in our efforts to siphon away off some of Godzilla’s dollars with some direct tournament. To date, Gamera and Godzilla have never crossed directions cinematically, and don’t expect King of the Monsters to be the first time.
