When their youngest daughter, Em( Natasha Calis ), becomes strangely preoccupied with an antique wooden carton bought from a yard sale, mothers Clyde( Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie( Kyra Sedgwick) receive little cause for alarm. However, Em becomes increasingly precarious, leading the couple to fear the presence of a vindictive violence. To their repugnance, Clyde and Stephanie just knowing that the box enclose a dybbuk, a dislocated flavour that colonizes — and eventually devours — a human legion.
