Dave Bautista declares he tried his best to get give as Bane in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Once it became clear Ben Affleck’s days as the Dark Knight were over, devotees immediately began to wonder what the next Batman movie would look like. Reeves eventually chose Robert Pattinson to be his Batman instead. But, DC supporters soon turned their attention towards what villain “Battinson” would contend first.

With Batman’s entire charlatans gallery at his jettison, Reeves has decided to use multiple villains to combat Pattinson in his first solo cinema. The prime criminal appears to be The Riddler, with Paul Dano set to play him. The Batman will too consider Colin Farrell participate Penguin and Zoe Kravitz play Batman’s part foe/ place affection interest, Catwoman. With these rascals, The Batman is set to revisit courages who have already been featured in prior movies. However, this will not include Bane, despite the best efforts of Bautista.

Bautista once has one comic book role on his resume after playing Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he also has his perceptions on becoming Bane. Unfortunately, his hopes of playing Bane won’t transpire in The Batman. The opinion of Bautista playing Bane in The Batman was thought to just be a fan push, but now the actor is taunting on Twitter he tried to make it happen.

The onetime WWE star has long been a popular fan choice to play Bane in a future DC movie, and this isn’t the first time Bautista has expressed interest in the part. He jokingly accepted the role on social media after a fan shed in 2019. This was around the time that devotees began wondering if Bautista used to play Bane in The Suicide Squad due to his connection to director James Gunn. But, neither Bane nor Bautista appear to have personas in that movie, and Bautista has now confirmed he won’t be the one playing Bane if he is in The Batman.

If Bautista still wants to play Bane, the good news is that it could happen down the road. Reeves could potentially have his eyes on Bane as a future devil as part of his Batman trilogy. Even if Bane does become part of Reeves’ films, there is no guarantee Bautista will get the role. Numerous followers would like to seethe next live-action copy of Bane keep the character’s Hispanic legacy, but Bautista is half-Green/ half-Filipino. That said, given the physicality and range he’s shown as relevant actors, there’s no denying that Bautista would be an intriguing choice to play Bane.
