AFC Richmond can add another win to the board, because Ted Lasso is taking home the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.

The beloved Apple TV+ slapstick, which aces Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, and a slay of other endowments, received an impressive 20 nominations ahead of the 73 rd Annual Emmy Awards.

Prior to the show’s Outstanding Comedy Series win on Sunday, Brett Goldstein triumphed Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Hannah Waddingham acquired Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, and Jason Sudeikis triumphed Best Lead Actor in a Comedy.

Other nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series included Hacks, black-ish, Cobra Kai, The Flight Attendant, The Kominsky Method, Pen1 5, and Emily in Paris.

Ted Lasso also had various wins before the ceremony, including the telling Outstanding Casting For A Comedy Series allotment. The win of that award has gone on to win best slapstick six years in a row.

We have a feeling this throw won’t be channeling their inner goldfish tonight. This is truly a prevail to remember.
