While trick or analyse is best bypassed, scientists say there are still ways to have a spooktacular time

It’s that time of year many children have been dreaming about for months, projecting outfits and terrible amazes for their neighbours. While some legislators have hinted that Halloween may be cancelled this year, Guardian readers ought to have sharing their plans, which include frightening movie screenings, “scare trails” and outdoor scavenger hunts. And scientists say there are ways of celebrating spooky season, while still staying safe.

“I think there’s of lots of things you can do which are really low-spirited jeopardy, like sculpture pumpkins and putting them outside, becoming apparels, decorating the house and putting sunrises in the windows- all within your own household, ” said Linda Bauld, prof of public health at the University of Edinburgh.
