The latest photo from the plan of the upcoming Mission: Impossible 7 teasings a new look for Rebecca Ferguson’s character, Ilsa Faust. Production on the Christopher McQuarrie action- thriller has been an on again, off again process, due to the Covid-1 9 pandemic. In recent weeks, nonetheless, things have been moving along much more swiftly, with creation on Mission: Hopeless 8 no longer scheduled to commence immediately after M: I7 wraps.

For some fans of the M: I series, the yield woes faced on this latest installment have been concerning. Lengthy, drawn out creations are not only extremely expensive circumstances, but they too tend to hint at underlying issues within the film itself. There ought to have numerous eras throughout Hollywood history when a cinema that took longer than expected to arrive eventually aimed up not performing as well as had been hoped. Case in spot is 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story, which underwent a litany of headaches and procrastinates in the lead up to its freeing, merely to baffle supporters and become the lowest grossing live-action Star Wars film ever induced. But while M: I7’s interruptions have been mostly down to Covid-1 9, there’s still plenty of reason to believe that the brand-new cinema will bring the sort of action and surprises that followers have come to expect from the series.

The latest intimate that Mission: Absurd 7 is potentially laden with unpredictable surprises comes from McQuarrie via his Instagram account. At first glance, the photo of Ferguson as Faust doesn’t seem to reveal too much. But upon closer inspection, it does seem as though she’s wearing an eyepatch, pushed up to her forehead during a divulge from specific actions. McQuarrie seems well aware of the inference he’s creating with the pole, opting to simply accompany the photo with an ellipsis. Whether this is due to McQuarrie’s belief that the photo speaks for itself or if the eyepatch is a big hint in itself remains to be seen. See the photo below 😛 TAGEND

Ever since her introduction into the M: I series in 2015 ’s Mission: Absurd- Rogue Nation, Faust has quickly become an integral part of the franchise. The wearing of an eyepatch has yet to become one of the character’s identifying features, which means that M: I7 could be about to introduce a new surface to the character. Then again, the eyepatch could be nothing more than one part of a bigger disguise that Faust exercises for a operation. Given the franchise’s reputation for the highest of high tech gadgetry, an eyepatch that isn’t fairly what it seems and offers some sort of advantage is certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

It is possible, of course, that Faust’s new look has nothing at all to do with a covert operation or highly advanced spy technology of any kind. Instead, it could be that the character is subject to some unfortunate luck in Mission: Impossible 7 and actually loses an seeing. If this applies, she’ll be in good cinematic companionship, as the last most hiring female attribute to wear an eyepatch on the big screen was Elle Driver in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill streak. Hopefully Faust doesn’t meet a similar demise as Driver did, but with each extending daytime, the advent of Mission: Hopeless 7 becomes increasingly enticing.
