Charlie Kaufman volunteers a first look at his Netflix film I’m Thinking of Ending Things. Based on the story confined by Iain Reid, I’m Thinking of Ending Things is a psychological thriller, written and directed by Kaufman. Following the critical success of Reid’s novel, it didn’t take long for a cinema account of the book to go into production. Kaufman – Oscar winner for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind – together with Jesse Plemons( Breaking Bad ), has been attached to the project since its development.

Now, Kaufman offers personas from the upcoming film. Speaking with EW, Kauffman discloses the cinema touches on “Loneliness, and hopelessness and sadnes, those are the things that are part of the fabric of the film.” Adapted from Reid’s Novel, I’m Thinking of Ending Things follows Jake( Plemons) and Jake’s unnamed girlfriend( Jessie Buckley) as they jeopardize on a superhighway tour to Jake’s hometown to have dinner with his parents( Toni Collette and David Thewlis ). On their style dwelling, a chain of events leads to a detour to Jake’s old-fashioned high school. The apparently innocent pit stop heads into an evening of nightmares.

But there’s no question that I’m trying to build on the stuff I’ve previously done.”
