Halle Berry is no stranger to breaking her ribs, and revealed in a brand-new interview that she did it again while filming her upcoming MMA movie, Bruised!
Bruised cores on a dishonor MMA fighter( Berry ), who experiences redemption in the enclose and the heroism to face her villains when the lad she had given up as an newborn accidentally reenters her life.

In her cover story with Entertainment Weekly, Halle opened up about how she separated two of her ribs on the first day of filming.
But, she actually refused to stop production because of it.
“[ It was] various kinds of a crazy gash, ” stunt coordinator Eric Brown shared about the incident. “But that was just her ferocity … Halle’s a special case. I’ve worked with tons of actors, and almost none of them have that kind of work ethic .”
Halle too cancelled ending her ribs while shooting John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum, and revealed that’s in part of why she have decided not to stop production.
“I told the director about it[ then ], they told the insurance. We had to shut down for months and it was a big ordeal, ” she shared. “On this, because it was an independent movie, we didn’t have a big budget. The director in me said,’ I didn’t come this far and wreak this hard to go home.’”
Bruised is coming to Netflix on November 24.
