Like a late Christmas gift that got lost in the upright, we come text in the wee hours this morning that Netflix is releasing a Black Mirror feature film tomorrow. Get ready for Bandersnatch! While the title refers to a mythological person devised by Lewis Carroll in his epic nonsense poem The Jabberwocky, the series is known for examining the questions relating to the darker aspects of technology. Synopsis: “In 1984, a young programmer have started to question reality as he changes a sprawling fiction novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. Welcome back.”

Charlie Brooker’s praised dark collection series was restored for a fifth season back in March, although Bandersnatch is not thought to be a part of that seek with Season 5 still to come at a later date. The trailer announces it “A Black Mirror Event” and peculiarities Dunkirk’s Fionn Whitehead with Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry. The latter says, “We’re going to be a smacked plant, like Motown, but for computer games.” Poulter’s character then tells Whitehead’s, “When it’s a perception section, a little bit of madness is what you need, ” as Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s “Relax” starts pumping.
